【Little Voices, Big Values】慈千英語活動日 一點一滴 培育優良價值 SYHMPS English Day: A Fun Journey to Cultivate Core Values（Scroll down for English version)

 

早前（6月24日），慈千舉辦了別開生面的英語活動日（English Day）！今年我們以「Little Voices, Big Values」為主題，為同學們打造了豐富的全英語語境。看著孩子們自信地運用英語交流，充分展現出本校扎實的英語實力與優良的學習氛圍！

 

當天活動精彩紛呈，同學們全情投入於結合教育局「首要價值觀」的攤位遊戲中。這些融入日常生活的趣味小遊戲，讓孩子們在挑戰與歡笑聲中，將正向價值觀內化於心，真正做到寓學習於娛樂！

 

此外，同學們在課堂上閱讀了探討香港廚餘問題（Food Waste）及培養同理心（Empathy）的趣味電子讀本。大家更發揮創意，親手製作出色彩繽紛的「同理心眼鏡」，並在紙碟上用英語寫下「珍惜食物」的承諾。孩子們極度享受製作手工的樂趣，同時流利地以英語表達所思所想，展現出高度的投入感！

On June 24, SYHMPS hosted an extraordinary English Day! Themed ”Little Voices, Big Values,“ the event successfully immersed our students in a vibrant, all-English environment. Witnessing our children communicate with such confidence truly reflects the school’s exceptional English proficiency and our inspiring learning atmosphere! 

 

The day was packed with spectacular activities. Students were fully engaged in interactive booth games designed around the Education Bureau‘s Priority Values and Attitudes. Through these delightful, life-oriented games, children internalized positive values amidst laughter and exciting challenges, perfectly embodying the spirit of learning through play! 

 

Furthermore, in-class reading sessions featured engaging e-books that explored Hong Kong’s food waste issue and the importance of empathy. Unleashing their creativity, students crafted colorful ”Empathy Glasses“ and wrote heartfelt pledges on paper plates to cherish food. They thoroughly enjoyed the arts and crafts, fluently expressing their thoughts in English and demonstrating remarkable enthusiasm!  

 

This meaningful event not only elevated our students‘ English capabilities but also planted the seeds of responsibility and compassion in their hearts. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the joyful moments captured on this wonderful day!
